How to use Google Account to back up Android files ?
Do you own a Google account? If not, you need to set up an account to use Google as an option to backup your data.
Step 1:
Get to the Home screen on your phone and select “System Settings” from Menu.
Step 2:
Select the “Privacy” option right under “Language” in the Settings screen.
Step 3:
Make sure to check “Backup my data” and “Automatic restore” boxes. Now, click “Backup my account.”
Step 4:
Select an account there for a backup account, or click “Add account.”
Step 5:
Select an account – Existing or other, or you can set up a new account by clicking “New.”
Step 6:
Enable syncing: Go to Settings and select – Accounts and sync and select the data you want to sync. For example Contacts, social media, or e-mail accounts.
Step 7:
Now, enter your gmail account details and login. You can choose additional options for syncing Contacts, Calendar, or Picasa web albums. Do not forget to turn off your carrier sync in Settings.
Note:
